Play of opening day of test match between Pak and Ban called off owing to rains

Rawalpindi: Play of opening day of 2nd test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been called off due to rain.

Earlier, the second cricket Test of two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been delayed due to rain in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan had announced 12-member team squad for second test match against Bangladesh.

Pakistan red ball Head Coach Jason Gillespie in a press conference announced the team against Bangladesh.

As per the Gillpespie the team includes captain Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Ibrar Ahmed, Baber Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Salaman Ali Agha.

Besides that Hamza, Abdullah Shafique , Khuram Shahzad and Naseem Shah are also part of the team.

The Coach also apprised that playing eleven will be announced after reviewing pitch situation early in the morning in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan have to must win the test to avoid a white wash against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh had defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the first test which was its first victory against Pakistan in a test match.

Pakistan scored 448 off 6 and declared the innings while Bangladesh in response made 565 in first innings while Pakistan showed the worst performance as whole of the team bowled at 146.

Bangladesh easily achieved 30 runs target without loss of any wickets.
