Player found guilty in fixing should consider their career end: PCB Chairman

The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shehryar Khan has sternly warn that the players found guilty in match or spot fixing should have consider their career end.

Addressing to a press conference said that bookies have designs new and modern ways of fixing and now they tried to use player’s relatives to match fixing.

“However if any player found guilty in any kind of corruption should understand their career will end, ” he said adding that Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif , both accused of match fixing, have given the reply of the PCB.

“The issue of Khalid and Sharjeel is in PCB tribunal and whatever the decision given by the tribunal will be accepted with letter and soul, ” he explained.

When asked whether a lack of education was to be blamed for such practices, Khan said that the academy offers classes to educate cricketers.

However, he conceded that “if the players were better educated, they wouldn’t have used unfair means.”

“Education is a national issue and we’re trying,” he added.

Replying to a question PCB chairman said that there would no compromise on fitness as three or four players were on border in this regard and if any death found that player will not be consider for the team.
