Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Aiwan-e-Sadar.
Both the leaders exchanged views on escalation with India after the Pahalgam attack in Occupied Kashmir and in view of current security situation.
President and premier have expressed deep concerns over India aggressive attitude and provocative statements.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarrar were also present.
A declaration issued after the meeting said that Indian attitude poses threat to regional peace and stability.
Pakistan will not compromise on national security and its sovereignty, the declaration adds.
The declaration stated that befitting response will be given of any aggression.
