PM chairs federal cabinet meeting, resolve to root out terrorism

Islamabad: A significant meeting of the federal cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, was held to extensively discuss national and international matters.

During the session, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif briefed the cabinet on his external visits, key meetings, and the prevailing regional situation. The Prime Minister also updated the participants on the country’s internal affairs, security challenges, and Pakistan’s diplomatic accomplishments on the global stage.

Sources revealed that the meeting also reviewed the Pakistan-Afghanistan situation in detail.

The federal cabinet paid homage to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism. Members of the cabinet expressed heartfelt solidarity with the families of these martyrs and reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms.

Additionally, the cabinet endorsed decisions made by the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Trade (CCIT) and discussed matters related to Overseas Employment as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training.

The gathering also approved decisions from three separate meetings of the Cabinet Committee on Legislative Affairs and carefully examined recommendations presented by the Cabinet Committee on Regulatory Reforms.
