ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for concrete measures to improve passenger safety and convenience across the country’s railway network.
He issued the directives during a meeting with Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, who met the prime minister in Islamabad on Friday.
The prime minister underlined the importance of ensuring timely repair and regular maintenance of railway tracks to enhance the safety and reliability of train operations.
He also directed the relevant authorities to take steps to improve the performance and efficiency of railway freight services.
