In a ceremony for sending Pakistani students to China on scholarships, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for their support. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the importance of educational cooperation between the two nations.
During his recent visit to China, Prime Minister Sharif toured an agricultural university, where he was greatly impressed by the innovative research being conducted.
He noted that “Pakistani students will play a crucial role as a bridge between China and Pakistan,” underscoring the potential for strengthened ties through educational exchange.
The Prime Minister announced that today, a group of agricultural graduates from Pakistan are heading to China to pursue modern education in agriculture. He also highlighted the inclusive approach taken in selecting these graduates, who have been chosen from all four provinces, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the knowledge and skills of Pakistani students, paving the way for future collaboration in agricultural development between Pakistan and China.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also expressed the gratitude to China for its support in securing the IMF program, stating that “China, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates are Pakistan’s closest allies.”
