Islamabad: A delegation of the Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Federal Minister for Education Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique headed the delegation while Dr Farooq Sattar and Syed Mustafa Kamal were other members of the delegation.
The MQM-P demanded the PM to decrease 18 percent tax imposed on the retailers.
The delegation also demanded the PM to increase funding of Karachi package and K-IV project.
Sources said that the PM Shahbaz Sharif has ensured the MQM-P for hike in the funding of Karachi package as well as for K-IV project.
Syed Mustafa Kamal apprised that PM Shahbaz Sharif response was positive on the demands of the party, sources said.
