Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over death of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Kunwar Naveed Jameel.
In his condolence message, he commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for high ranks of departed soul and for bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.

Earlier, the MQM-P leader funeral prayers were offered in a mosque in Defence Housing Authority and later he was buried in the graveyard situated in DHA phase 1.
The MQM-P convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Deputy Convener Syed Mustafa Kamal, Anis Qaim Khani, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and others large number of MQMP leaders, activists and supporters attended his last rituals.

Besides that former governor Sindh Imran Ismael, ex-CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nasir Shah, were also in attendance in the funeral prayers.
