Islamabad (August 31, 2017): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has issued directives to concerned authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan to encourage diversification of exports and rationalization of trade tariff.
The PM issued these directives while presiding over a meeting on matters pertaining to Ministry of Commerce in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister urged the need for productivity, innovation, and low-cost infrastructure in the country.
The meeting also discussed the Prime Minister’s Package to reinforce exports.
A number of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements were also discussed in the meeting.
