Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday called three important meetings which will discuss law and order, political matters and inflation.
The PM will consult the party leadership and senior ministers regarding banned religious outfit and law and order situation while Federal Minister for interior Shaikh Rasheed will brief the PM regarding the situation while provincial and federal officials will be in attendance. The official of Punjab will present report about the Lahore incident while the PM will be informed about the progress made in negotiation with the banned outfit.
The premier also called a political committee meeting in which Federal Ministers, Pervez Khattak, Shafqat Mahmood, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry will attend. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser will attend the meeting as a member of the committee. The PM also called secretary general of PTI Amir Kiyani and Chief organizer Saif Ullah Niazi. Law and order situation, matters of the banned outfit , issues related to Jehangir Tareen will be considered.
The meeting will also discuss measures to control inflation while vital decisions are expected in the political committee meeting.
The PM Imran Khan has also summoned a meeting of the government spokespersons in which the guidelines regarding the government narrative and economic matters will be discussed. While media management team and spokespersons will be given briefing on the country situation.
