ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has given approval for a huge water project, which was presented by chairman WAPDA, to resolve the water issues of the metropolitan.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the PM Imran Khan in connection to discuss the issues of water resources as it was also attended by the Faisal Vawda, Chairman Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lieutenant General (R) Muzzamal Hussain and other senior officials.
Minister for water resources Faisal Vawda briefed the meeting overt the water-related issues in the country particularly in Sindh as chairman WAPDA explain the water projects to solve the water shortage in the province.
PM apprised that the mega water project will change the fate of the people.
PM Imran hailed the chairman WAPDA and minister for designing an effective and comprehensive water project.
Later, PM has given the approval of the project as its formal announcement will be made by the minister for water resources.
