ISLAMABAD: The foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that the Prime Minister Imran Khan visit to the US will further strengthen the bilateral relationship of both countries and will help to remove the bottleneck in the way.
He made these views while meeting with US envoy in Islamabad Jones Paul and the Pak-US bilateral ties and Afghan peace process came under discussion.
They discussed matters of mutual interest including the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the US, Pak-US relations, and the Afghan peace process.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan will continue playing its reconciliatory role in the Afghan peace process under collective responsibility.
Both sides agreed to continue cooperation on the Afghan peace process, fortifying bilateral relations and achieving shared objectives in the region
