Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has been informed about initial details of the wheat scandal.
As per the details, from August 2023 to March 2024 the wheat of whopping amount of Rs 330 billion were brought to the country from abroad.
As much as 13 lakh ton wheat found of insects in the wheat.
Secretary cabinet division and secretary food briefed the premier. As per the report a whopping 1.10 billion dollars were sent to abroad for the import of the wheat.
