WAZIRISTAN: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced several projects for the development and progress of tribal areas.
Addressing elders at Maula Khan Sarai in South Waziristan district on Wednesday, he said development of Waziristan and South Balochistan is amongst the top priorities of his government to bring backward and less developed areas at par with other areas of the country.
He announced to establish an education city comprising 5,000 kanals in the tribal areas.
Prime Minister said the government is committed to provide medical cover to the people; besides, addressing issues pertaining to provision of clean drinking water, and construction of roads.
He said poor families will be helped under Ehsas Programme by granting them loans and stipends.
Imran Khan said government will not succumb to opposition’s blackmailing for NRO and will continue with the process of accountability.
Imran Khan said we are coming out of the difficult situation and the debt trap, putting the country on the right track.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated state of the art hospital, equipped with modern facilities at Maula Khan Sarai in South Waziristan.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan visited FC Headquarters in Wana and paid rich tribute to martyrs. He presented floral wreath at martyrs memorial and planted a sapling there.
