KARACHI: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi today on a one-day official visit. Upon his arrival, he was received by Federal Minister of Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
During his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to tour the Pakistan Navy dockyard, where he will meet with the Navy officers. The visit underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening maritime defense and recognizing the vital role of the Navy in safeguarding Pakistan’s waters.
PM Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to address the officers and sailors, highlighting their dedication and bravery in defending the country’s maritime boundaries during the Battle of Truth. He will pay tribute to their service and sacrifices.
Joining the Prime Minister on this visit are Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif (Defense), Ahsan Iqbal (Planning), and Ataullah Tarar (Information and Broadcasting).
The visit emphasizes the importance of naval security and the nation’s appreciation for the efforts of Pakistan’s naval personnel in maintaining peace and sovereignty at sea.
