In Dushanbe, CASA-1000 project has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Tajik President along with Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, Pakistan would get 1000 MW energy from Tajikistan while Afghanistan would get 300 MW emery under the project.
On this eve, engineers told officials while giving briefing that 700 km transmission line would reach Pakistan through Afghanistan while project would be completed till 2018.
While addressing to inauguration ceremony, PM Nawaz said that CASA-1000 project has great importance on the region, implementation has begun on the project while countries of the region would get chance to get closer to each other while citizens would get new opportunities of employment.
