Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday directed the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) to hold tals with business community over their strike call on August 28.
The FBR chairman has called business representative for negotiations.
The talks between the FBR and business community will be held today.
It is pertinent to mention here that the business community has given strike call on August 28 against ‘tajir dost scheme’.
Jamat-e-Islami who also has given call of shutter down strike against heavy bills of electricity, the International Power Producers (IPPs) payment of capacity charges, new taxes on employees of private sector and inflation.
The JI has also appealed the business community to support its strike call.
The Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) chief Molana Fazal Ur Rehman has also instructed its party activists and workers to observe strike on August 28.
