PM, President, Others Express Grief over Loss of Lives in Train Fire

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Dr Arif ALvi, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other political leaders expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in Tezgam Express train fire tragic incident.

The premier expressed his grief and sorrow over the incident and directed authorities to provide the best medical treatment to the injured.

President Alvi expressed profound grief on the loss of several precious lives in the tragic blast.

He prayed for the departed souls and the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured.

FM Qureshi also expressed sorrow over the incident and prayed for the speedy of the injured.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, while expressing her grief, said: “I am extremely sad over the loss of precious lives.”

On the other hand, the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto also expressed profound grief over the massive fire incident and demanded the government to immediately compensate the bereaved families.

“Government should provide the best medical treatment to the injured,” Bilawal said and directed the party leaders and workers to help the wounded.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar condoled with the families of victims and directed the authorities to bring the report of the incident.

At least 65 people lost their lives after a deadly fire broke out on a passenger train “Tezgam Express” on Thursday morning near Liaquatpur city, Rahim Yar Khan.
