ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 29, the Foreign Office confirmed on Sunday.
The trip is being made at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Accompanying the premier will be a high-level delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and several other federal ministers.
During his visit, the prime minister will take part in the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Riyadh. This year’s event, themed “The Key to Prosperity: Unveiling the New Frontiers of Growth,” will highlight discussions on innovation, sustainability, inclusive development, and global economic shifts.
The FII serves as a key international platform bringing together global investors, policymakers, and business leaders to deliberate on emerging economic trends and opportunities.
As per the Foreign Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also scheduled to meet the Saudi leadership to explore ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.
The two sides are expected to exchange views on regional and global issues of shared concern.
