Islamabad: Commenting on the existing political situation in wake of the opposition no-confidence motion, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) vice-president Sherry Rehman on Friday said that ruling PTI’s own members expressed distrust the government openly.
In her statement, Senator Sherry Rehman said that Prime Minister Imran khan after losing mandate should leave the prime minister ship adding that the premier has lost his majority clearly in house (NA).
Member of Upper house, Sherry Rehman said that the PM trying to safe his government through unconstitutional ways while the PM is being given unconstitutional advises of attacking Sindh house, imposing a governor rule in Sindh, disqualifying MNA’s before a no-confidence motion.

She warned that any irresponsible action by the government will take country towards escalation and crisis.
She said that a no-confidence motion is a constitutional matter and urged the government to avoid taking unconstitutional measures adding that in this situation speaker NA should perform his role and fulfil constitutional obligations.
However, the statement of speaker not represent his post adding that speaker can’t disqualify members before a vote in the no-confidence motion.
