PM Should Take House Into Confidence Over NSC Meeting: Shah

Islamabad(May 14, 2018): Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should take house into confidence over the NSC meeting.

Khursheed Shah said that he decided not to attend National Security Committee(NSC) meeting, as he received the invitation “late”.

National Security Committee meeting was held today, which discussed misleading statement in media about Mumbai Attacks by former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.

Syed Khursheed Shah said that Nawaz Sharif belongs to the present government of PML-N, which has to decide “What to Do”.The opposition leader said that he will wait for the Prime Minister’s clarification on the statement of Nawaz Sharif in the house.

Nawaz, in a recent interview to a newspaper, had said, “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me. Why can’t we complete the trial?, the statement of the former PM was declared against the national security by Pakistan Army. We all are responsible for national security issues, no matter we are in government or not, said Khursheed Shah.

Earlier Today, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that those who served country are being termed, traitors. “He who conducted atomic tests is being called a traitor,”  added the former premier.

While talking to the newsmen outside accountability court, Nawaz Sharif said Pervez Musharraf, Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Rehman Malik also said the same before, what he has just said.

On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif while reading his interview said what wrong has he asked? The nation and Pakistan Army sacrificed in the war against terror, despite that Pakistan is not being heard, Sharif said.Nawaz Sharif while referring to Pervez Musharraf said those violated constitutions are being called “Patriotic”

Former Prime Minister on the occasion said that Kulbhushan was an Indian Spy.

Yesterday, PML N spokesman issued a clarification over Nawaz Sharif’s Statement and stated that Indian media misinterpreted Former Prime Minister’s statement.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Spokesman claimed, unfortunately, some quarters of Pakistani media did not go into details of the interview and encouraged Indian media’s malicious propaganda.

Muslim League is largest and popular party of Pakistan, PML N leader Nawaz Sharif does not need a certificate from anyone over national security matters, the spokesman added.
