Lahore: Continuing wishing Eid- Ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim head of states, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, today, telephoned his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim.
The PM extended Eid greetings to brother nation Malaysia and his people.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over positive progress in the bilateral relations between the two brother Islamic countries.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim underscored the special significance attached by the Malaysian side to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur in May this year. He said that preparations were under way to ensure the success of the visit.
The premier reiterating to make the bilateral relations further strengthened wishing that he is awaiting Malaysian premier Anwar Ibrahim visit this year to the country.
He expressed hope that the visit will be beneficial for both the countries.
Moreover, Malaysian premier Anwar Ibrahim also held a brief conversation with the lifetime supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif .
