ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a high-level meeting of civil and military leadership on national security today.
The meeting is being held in connection with prevailing stress between Pakistan and India. According to the Prime Minister House, all the four chief ministers and heads of armed forces will participate in the meeting.
National Security Adviser Lieutenant General (retd) Nasir Khan Janjua, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed will also participate in the meeting.
Sources said that Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) DG and Foreign Secretary will brief the meeting.
