Islamabad (July 7, 2017) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday will inaugurate a new power plant with the capacity to generate 760 megawatts electricity in Jhang.
According to Prime Minister spokesman, the Prime Minister will visit Jhang today to inaugurate the first unit of Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant with a capacity of 760 megawatts.

The unit has been completed in a record period of 21 months. The project is Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) based and has the capacity to 1230 MW.
World’s most efficient and state of the art technology has been used in the project which guarantees efficiency of the plant at 62.44 percent on LNG.
The project is environment friendly with minimum impact and is another step towards the government’s commitment of providing balanced sources of energy for the country.
The project has been executed by a Chinese power construction company and Pakistan National Engineering.
