LAHORE: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will visit Okara today to inaugurate wheat harvesting campaign at Shergarh near Renala Khurd today.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also address a big public meeting at Okara Football Stadium.
Sources said that 12 thousands chairs have been placed at the stadium for seating of the public meeting participants. The Prime Minister is expected to announce development projects for the district.
The Prime Minister will also lay foundation stone of Rs 600 million gas supply scheme to some areas of NA-144 and Rs630 million overhead bridge in Okara city.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the meeting.
