PM visits Mansehra home of shaheed Lt-Col Shahzada Gul Faraz, announces Daanish School in his honor

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday traveled to Mansehra to express condolences to the family of Lt-Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz, who embraced martyrdom during an operation against Fitna al-Khwarij militants.

During the visit, the prime minister met the martyr’s mother, widow, and children, offering prayers for patience and strength in their time of grief. He later visited the grave of Lt-Col Gul Faraz, offered Fateha, and prayed for the elevation of his rank in the hereafter.

Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the fallen officer’s courage, stating that he sacrificed his life in defense of the nation. He emphasized that the country stands united in honoring its martyrs and will always remember their bravery and commitment.

The prime minister assured the bereaved family of complete support from both the government and the Pakistan Army.

As a gesture of tribute, he announced that a Daanish School would be established in Mansehra in the name of Lt-Col Shahzada Gul Faraz.

Several senior political figures accompanied the prime minister, including Attaullah Tarar, Amir Muqam, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, Adviser to the PM Rana Sanaullah, Muhammad Safdar, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, and other local representatives who joined in offering condolences.
