Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Thursday demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to take vote of confidence from the parliament.
The PML-N stalwart Ahsan Iqbal addressing a presser with another party leader Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, said that breaking of National Assembly (NA) quorum consecutively for a week is a distrust on the PM. While he said that President should direct the PM to take vote of confidence from the assembly once again.
Criticising the PM Imran over his statements on the corruption, former planning minister said that Imran Khan misguiding the masses over projects of PML-N tenure.
He said that the projects on which PM is hurling accusations of expensive construction have been completed by Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and National Logistic Cell (NLC) under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He asked the PM who did earn money and how much? adding that the PM Imran has become mouthpiece of enemies by hurling these accusations.
Ahsan Iqbal said that people extended prayers over the historic development made in the PML-N era adding that Imran Khan can’t remove the PML-N from the hearts of the people by false statements.
He said that the PML-N and opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will run country wide movement against inflation.
