KARACHI: The vote count for the by-election for National Assembly constituency NA-249 Karachi West-II is underway after polling concluded at 5pm.
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results from 105 polling stations, this is how the candidates currently Miftah Ismail (PML-N) is leaded with 7,452 votes, Qadir Khan (PPP) – 4,908 votes, Mustafa Kamal (PSP) – 2,750 votes and Amjad Afridi (PTI) – 2,215 votes.
The Election Commission had made all necessary arrangements to hold the elections in peaceful manner. The polling started at 8am and continued till 5pm without any break.
