Lahore: The 14th parliamentary board meeting Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) is underway in Lahore jointly chaired by Pakistan Lifetime supremo Nawaz Shairf and Shahbaz Sharif.
The PML-N Senior vice-prsident and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif, vice-president election cell Ishaq Dar, Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal, and Party Punjab President Rana Sana Ullah are in attendence.
Besides party’s central and provincial office bearers, divisional co-coordinator are also in attendance.
The PML-N parliamentary board today will select appropriate candidates for federal capital Islamabad and special seats.
The meeting will consider names for special seats for women. More than 400 women across the country have submitted applications for women special seats.
This is the highest number of women representation in any party of the country.
The parliamentary board from December 2 have considered names of candidates from Sargodha division, District Rawalpindi, Hazara, Malakand division, Balochistan, D G Khan, Attock, Jehlum, Chakwal, Khanewall, Vehari, Lodhran, Multan, Gunjranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Naroowal, Bahawalpur, Sindh, Karachi, Faisalabad.
