Islamabad (July 14, 2017): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is chairing The Parliamentary Party meeting of the ruling PML (N) which is underway here at the Prime Minister House.
The meeting is being attended by the party’s Members og National Assembly as well as Senators.
The PMLN parliamentarians will chalk out a strategy to give a strong response to the opposition for demanding prime minister’s resignation over the Panama Papers case. The PMLN parliamentarians will also depose full trust and confidence on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s leadership.
According to sources the PMLN parliamentarians welcomed the prime minister with loud clapping and by banging the desks when he arrived at the meeting.
The prime minister had vowed not to abdicate his powers after the cabinet reposed full confidence in his leadership. The cabinet also endorsed prime minister’s decision that he would not step down. The prime minister had called the report of the JIT that probed the Panama Papers case a collection of assumptions, allegations, and accusations about the private businesses run by his family members.
