ISLAMABAD: Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi on Friday attended the convocation ceremony of the 48th PN Staff Course as a chief guest of the ceremony.
According to spokesperson Pakistan Navy, Naval Chief distributed the degrees and medals among the passing officers. The passing officers contained 64 graduates from Pakistan Navy, five from Pakistan Air Force and 3 from the Pakistan Army. The passing officers completed their Masters in War Studies.
Other than officers of Pakistan’s armed forces as much as 23 officers of 16 sister nations also received their degree, added spokesperson.
Addressing to the ceremony the commander of Pakistan’s fleet CNS Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbassi congratulated the passing officers and reiterated that Pakistan Navy despite the lack of resources will continue to defend the sea-frontiers of the country.
He also insisted that officers of other nations graduating from our academies are proof of our positive diplomatic relations within the region.
