MUZAFFARGARH: Police arrested fake female faith healer and her husband among four people for selling a eight-month-old child in Muzaffargarh.
DPO Muzaffargarh said that a man lodged report of kidnapping of an eight-month child. The complaint said that his wife took the child to a faith healer woman, who fed some intoxicant to the child and told his wife that the child died. Upon this, the man said, his wife tried to take his child for burial from the fake faith healer who refused to handover the child.
Upon this the family approached police and lodged a compliant. Acting upon the complaint, police recovered the child safely. Police also arrested the fake faith healer ad his husband.
Police also arrested the couple to who bought the child.
