Peshawar: Police have arrested a vital leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former minister Shaukat Yousufzai from Peshawar airport,sources said.
Shaukat Yousufzai has been arrested from premises of the Peshawar Airport.
Sources said that the PTI leader was going to perform Umra when he was caught.
Shaukat said that he has no any FIR registered against him and his name is also not included in the Exit Control List (ECL).
He said that neither he has spoken against the army nor involved in the such politics.The former minister said that he has left for performing Umrah after confirmation yesterday.
He apprised that he has gotten boarding card despite that he was off loaded from the plane.
