Islamabad: The Islamabad Police has declared the incident faced by the late Federal Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor as an accident.
The police apprised that the driver of the car could not stopped it owing to the over speeding. While the police has handed over the report to the government officials.
A physical remand of two-day of accused driver Rao Gul has been taken. Out of remaining four two are in under treatment in a hospital while two are in the police custody.
Maulana Abdul Shakoor, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, had died in a road accident in Islamabad on Saturday.
Shakoor was reportedly traveling from Marriott to Secretariat Chowk when his vehicle was hit by a Hilux Revo carrying five men.
Shakoor was transported to Polyclinic Hospital but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
