Sialkot: Police have allegedly conducted a raid on the residence of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Usman Dar’s mother, violate the sanctity and security of the home and showed disrespect to the woman.
According to the sources Sialkot Police raided the home of former Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf leader Usman Dar’s mother , violating the sanctity and security of the premises and showing disrespect to the women present there.
Mother of former PTI leader Usman Dar vowed to contest the upcoming general elections in Sialkot at any cost after the local police raided her residence.
In a video shared on social media, Usman Dar’s mother accused the police of conducting the raid allegedly on the orders of Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khawaja Asif. She claimed that the police raiding party subjected them to humiliation.
According to Usman Dar’s mother, Khawaja Asif orchestrated these actions to deter her from contesting the general elections against him. PML-N leader Khawaja Asif, nonetheless, denied the allegations of mother of Usman Dar.
It’s worth noting that, following a crackdown on PTI workers after the May 9 vandalism, police also raided the residence of the Dar brothers in Sialkot, and reports of ‘mistreatment’ of females during the raids surfaced.
