ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Sunday said it recovered five Kalashnikovs, a pistol, six magazines, two bulletproof vest, alcohol and three tear gas shells from the car of KP Minister Amin Gandapur of PTI outside Bani Gala.
Police said that the KP’s Revenue Minister Amin Gandapur’s car was stopped at a check post outside Bani Gala and on search the arms, ammunition and alcohol were recovered.
After recovery of the weapons, police impounded the car and his driver was detained , however, he was allowed to go.
Later Police shifted the recovered five KK rifles, 289 rounds, five magazines, two bullet proof vests, tear guns and shells to Barakoho Police Station.
