RAWALPINDI: Police removed containers in front of Lal Haveli, the residence of Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed and cleared other roads as well.
Police had specially sealed all the roads leading to Lal Haveli so as to stop Sheikh Raheed from holding public meeting in Rawalpindi. Now police cleared all the area.
Earlier, Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday appeared at Committee Chowk Rawalpindi and made a brief speech to the AML and PTI workers gathered there for the protest meeting and slipped away by dodging police. Sheikh Rashid challenged the authorities to arrest him, if they can.
