Police reveal Dr. Warda was killed just one hour after abduction

ABBOTABAD: New details have surfaced in the case of Dr. Warda, who was kidnapped from the DHQ Hospital and later found murdered.

According to detail, Dr. Warda was abducted outside the hospital premises on December 4th, and her body was discovered four days later in the Lari Binota area.

District Police Officer Haroon Rasheed stated that Dr. Warda was murdered only an hour after her abduction. Initially, the suspects took her to an under-construction house in Jinnahabad, where she was strangled and killed. Her body was subsequently buried near Thandiani.

The police have recovered both vehicles believed to be involved in the crime, which are now in custody. Furthermore, three individuals—including the victim’s friend and her husband have been detained, while efforts are underway to capture a fourth suspect.

Sources indicate that Dr. Warda was anxious about her upcoming departure abroad, as she had entrusted her 67 tolas of gold to a woman she trusted. The suspect had kept the gold as collateral and had also taken Rs. 5 million from it.

Authorities have apprehended Dr. Warda’s friend, the employee of the suspect, and an accomplice. Multiple search operations are ongoing to arrest the primary suspect, Shumrez.
