KARACHI: PPP rebel leader Zulfiqar Mirza has claimed that he is aware of the plan to be killed by police, while he and his family is still under serious threat, whereas he demanded to provide protection to him and his family.
Addressing press conference in Karachi, Zulfiqar Mirza said that he and his family have serious threats, while he demanded that those protectors of country should also protect him and his family’s lives. He said that Zulfiqar Mirza was only guilty to surface Zardari’s party corruption. He said that is not possible to reconcile with them. Responding to a question, Former Sindh Home Minister said that he part his ways with PPP for the sake of Sindh and Pakistan.
Zulfiqar Mirza claimed that if police would have clutched him in high court then everyone knows what they could do. He said that there were rumors few days earlier regarding him, but people must remember that there is no question for reconciliation with Asif Zardari. Responding to another question, Mirza said that he has not joined any party and he is maintaining his position as independent candidate.
