Speaking at an event in Karachi, Mr Abbasi stressed the importance of adhering to the Constitution as the only viable path forward.
Addressing the gathering, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi took a jibe at the political parties for drafting manifestos that are often ignore post-election. “Every party has the same manifesto, but there is no real implementation,” he remarked, highlighting the growing public disillusionment.
“Today, every Pakistani is worry. Wherever you go, people ask what will happen to the country and what the solution to its problems is.”
The former premier emphasised that the primary role of governments is to serve the people by providing essential services such as electricity, water, and healthcare. He pointed out that the key to resolving the nation’s issues lies within the framework of the Constitution.
