Karachi: The polling is underway in the by polls on National Assembly constituency NA-240 comprising areas of Landhi and Korangi.
The polling on the NA-240 started 8:00 am morning which will continue without any disruption till 5 pm.

The constituency has a population of 8, 53, 973, while as many as 5, 29, 855 people are registered for voting
As many as 309 polling stations have been established out of which 206 are declared highly sensitive while remaining 106 are declared sensitive.

The two important parties of Karachi Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamat-e-Islami (JI) didn’t file their candidates for the by-polls.
The NA-240 was lied vacant after death of MQM-P Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan.
