LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, highlighted that education, healthcare, and employment are fundamental rights for women.
In a press statement issued in Lahore on Saturday, she reaffirmed her government’s unwavering commitment to eliminate poverty across both rural and urban areas. She emphasized that ensuring equal economic opportunities is a core focus, benefiting communities in cities and villages alike.
Additionally, the Punjab government has unveiled an initiative to support rural women by providing buffaloes and cows worth two billion rupees. This scheme will benefit eleven thousand women in twelve districts of South Punjab, aiming to uplift their livelihoods and promote economic self-sufficiency.
