Karachi: President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh, Senator Nisar Khoro on Monday announced that the party candidate for mayor Karachi will be Murtaza Wahab while Salman Murad, will be Deputy mayor of the party.
Addressing a presser in Karachi, the PPP president Sindh has also announced the party’s chairman’s and deputy chairman’s across the province.
It is pertinent to mention here that both the candidate of mayor and deputy mayor of Karachi have their earlier generation linked with the party.
As the PPP nominated Mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab is the son of late woman party leader Fauzia Wahab while deputy mayor candidate Slaman Murad is the son of Abdullah Murad who was martyred in decade of 2000 in Karachi.
Senator Nisar Khoro said that there are 1600 union councils and town committees can be exists in Sindh.
