Lahore: Co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Zardari has nominated, the party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as the party candidate for the premier.
The Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting was held in Lahore in the chair of Asif Ali Zardari where he nominated his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the PPP candidate for the prime minister for the upcoming general elections.

The CEC endorsed the co-chairman nomination.
Talking at the occasion, the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are parties of the elite class while he claimed that the PPP is the party of the masses.

He said that former army chief Zia Ul Haq imposed the PML-N in Punjab.
The PPP chairman said that the country is faced with innumerable challenges and the party is competent enough to deal with the challenges of the country.

Bilawal said,” We have a complete plan for the problems of the country.”
