ISLAMABAD: The chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad, discussed Constitutional amendment bill.
According to the detail, The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with other leaders like Khurshid Shah.
Speaking to media after the meeting, senior PPP leader Khurshid Shah said that legislation is the prerogative of parliament.
“We came here to take Maulana into confidence over the proposed legislation,” said the PPP stalwart.
He added that the bill will present in the National Assembly after thorough deliberations with all the parties.
It was second meeting of PPP chairman with JUI-F chief during last 48 hours, Earlier, Maulana had asked the ruling coalition to defer the legislation.
