Larkana: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) staged protest sit-in and conducted tractor trolley march in the leadership of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah in Larkana while people from Larkana division took part in the protest.
Farmers and workers of the PPP reached Muree round about where Chief Minister Sindh registered his protest while sitting on a bull cart.
Addressing the protest, the CM Sindh said that farmers on the call of the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have come to protest against the insensitive deaf and dumb government adding that we have to get the government wake up from sleep.
He said that the provincial government had set the price of wheat after increasing it from Rs 650 to Rs 950 while the PTI government bought the wheat on a cheaper rate and exported it to some other country.
The CM said that our province is self sufficient in Urea which prepares from natural gas but they (PTI government) created a crisis.
He is not wondering over smuggling of urea to Afghanistan from Sindh and they have so much limited in their thinking as they only know how to earn and how to create scarcity.
Sugar, cotton and every thing is in scarcity since the PTI government assumed the power.
Murad Ali Shah said that the Prime Minister paid Rs 9.8 million tax after becoming the premier before coming in to the power the PM paid two lakhs. While he asked the premier how his earning increased.
