PPP invites MQM-P again for negotiations after later refuses earlier offer of Ruling party

Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has refused to accept the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) offer of an eight standing committees of the Sindh Assembly.

An MQM delegation headed by the Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly (SA) Ali Khursheedy will meet the PPP leaders.

The talks between the MQM-P and PPP on awarding of the SA standing committees are continued.

The PPP has offered chairing an eight standing committees of the SA. On the other hand the MQM-P has a view that the party has a right on Public Accounts Committee, Education, Local Bodies, home ministry and other standing committees.

The PPP has once against invited the MQM-P for negotiations on the matter of the standing committees of the SA.
