QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party leader and former provincial minister Tahir Mehmood Khan will contest the election as an independent candidate supported by the Grand alliance.
Tahir Mehmood Khan, the leader of Pakistan People’s Party and former provincial minister will contest the upcoming election as independent candidate of Constituency PB 42 Quetta. Tahir Mehmood Khan left the PPP because of non issuance party ticket to him and joined the Grand Alliance.
Independent candidate Raza Ur Rehman announced his resignation in favor of Tahir Mahmood Khan Grand Alliance. the head and senior politician Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani in a press conference along with Grand Alliance candidate Raza Ur Rahman announced his resignation in favor of Tahir Mehmood Khan. While Tahir Mehmood Khan promised to enter the field as an independent candidate supported by the Grand Alliance
Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani said that the candidates of Grand Alliance are real politicians, there is no capitalist in our panel and they are well aware of the problems of the province while living in political parties.
Under the decided formula, the voters of Raza Ur Rehman will support Tahir Mehmood from Constituency PB 42 while the supporters of Tahir Mehmood will vote for Haji Lashkari Raisani in National Assembly Constituency NA 263 Quetta.
