KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party leaders reacted strongly over the arrest of speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani and termed it plot to conquer Sindh.
Responding on the arrest, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari on Social media micro blogging site twitter, she said that Siraj arrest is insult to country as well as democracy, whereas, placing chief minister Sindh name on Ecl and cases on him also is insult.

Member of national assembly Nafisa Shah said that cases against Siraj is in inquiry phase how he can be arrested at this level adding that everyone know that the speaker is custodian of the assembly and overseeing authority for rights of all members of the assembly.
Central leader of PPP, Mola Bakhsh Chandio condemning Siraj arrest said that Siraj is speaker of the provincial assembly how he could be arrested.
Raising question, he said that what message was given after arresting Siraj from Islamabad to bringing him back to the province. Interpreting his own question he said that government has given impression that the representative of smaller province is not safe in Islamabad.
He said that cases against former chief minister Kyber Pakhtunkhwa and present defense minister was also continued but they were not taken into custody.
Chandio said that federal government has given nothing to entire nation except chaos.
