The leadership of Pakistan Peoples party will get together in Dubai today to discuss the issue pertaining to Rangers’ power in Sindh and extentding of stay.
Yesterday the meeting chaired by Asif Zardari in Dubai lasted for five years. It was attended by Bilawal Bhutto, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial, Faryal Talpur, Rahman Malik, and Farooq H. Naek. Extension in Rngers powers in Karachi was discussed during the meeting. The special powers to Rangers have run out on July 19.
If it is decided to extend Rangers’ powers they would be granted special powers in Karachi Division for 120 days while the duration of Rangers in Karachi will be for one year.
